Routes to Kheer Ganga
Get a ride for Manali Route and get down at Bhuntar which is also a bus stop and rail station. After this, you will find a local route for Barshaini. Barshaini is approx. 9 to 10 km from Kheer Ganga. If you are going through private cab it will cost around 900-1000 INR, Bus fare approx. 75-100 INR. There are three ways to reach out Kheer Ganga from Barshaini.
1.Via Nakthan Village
2. Via Kalga Village
3. Via Tosh Village
Via Nakthan village- Take the left turn from the Barshaini village bridge which is best and easiest route to reach out Kheer Ganga.
It will take approx. 3-4 hours at normal trekking speed to reach Kheer Ganga that makes it shortest and most preferred route to reach there. The pristine Parvati River on the left side of the trek makes it most popular route.
Via Kalga Village- Take the right turn from the Barshaini village bridge which is bit difficult for trekking as it goes through dense forests. You will get the amazing view of famous Kalga Village.
If you are not aware of this route we will suggest you to have a guide who can advise you during your trekking adventure. These days, it is also a common route.
If you want to avoid crowd and want to enjoy forest environment, then this is what you are looking for. This route merge with original route after few kilometers of the trekking.
You will also witness the most beautiful tosh river which ultimately meets the Parvati river. This route joins near the Nakthan Village route for the Kheer Ganga.
